emProfile™ Facial Firming & Muscle Toning

The emProfile™ is an innovative and non-invasive facial treatment. The procedure emits both Radiofrequency and Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation technologies and affects the facial skin and muscles, enabling the emProfile™ to achieve firming and anti-ageing results without needles. Radiofrequency heats the dermis, increasing collagen and elastin fibres to firm up skin and smooth out wrinkles. Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation technology restores and enhances facial tissue support by selectively contracting muscles and increasing the density and quality of muscle structures. Electromagnetic waves safely enter the muscle tissue as deep as 2cm under the skin, triggering its motor neurons (as if the brain transmits information to stimulate motor neurons) and then triggering continuous muscle contraction due to action potentials, reaching a high level of anti-ageing stimulation. During muscle contraction, some fibres break, allowing the muscles to reshape and grow profoundly and produce new collagen chains and new muscle fibres, increasing and thickening myofibrils, tightening facial muscles, and improving facial lines. At the same time, a certain intensity of muscle contraction dramatically increases the energy demand of muscle cells, releases more adrenaline, promotes the rapid decomposition of a large number of fat cells, and produces a large amount of ATP energy for muscle contraction, to burn and reduce fat and increase the basal metabolic rate. When the muscles are retracted, lymph drainage occurs; it accelerates the absorption and transportation of lymphatic fluid, which contains toxins, bacteria, viruses, and proteins. The enhancement of the flow rate accelerates the metabolism of the face, expels the waste left by fat decomposition and the toxins of the face and improves the tolerance of the facial skin.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Yes, you can. However, just like you cannot get a facial treatment after being treated with injectables, you cannot immediately sit for an emProfile™ treatment. It is essential to wait until you have recovered and any bruising has subsided; a waiting period of two weeks post-injection is ideal. It is highly recommended to pair this treatment with fillers and botulinum toxins; it enhances your baseline and prevents you from getting into a worsened state. If you aim to reduce your reliance on injectable treatments, emProfile™ could assist by smoothing forehead lines and adding volume to cheeks.
The emProfile™ is suitable for both men and women. It can enhance the jawline, which is something men are interested in. It additionally smooths out wrinkles and fine lines, which are common concerns for women.
A session of emProfile™ lasts 20 minutes. We recommend booking at least four sessions, spaced one week apart, with subsequent maintenance yearly appointments as needed to achieve optimal results.
Not only is the treatment needle-free, but minimal downtime is involved. Slight flushing of the skin can be expected.
The treatment is not painful. The Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation technology causes the muscles in your face to contract, which results in a peculiar sensation, funny facial expressions, and increased strength. Some patients have reported that it feels ticklish and gives them “goosebumps”.
Virtually anyone is a suitable candidate. The treatment is entirely safe, does not interfere with facial fillers, and is safe for people with most dental implants. However, it is advisable to consult with a professional about contraindications.
You begin to feel tangible results after the treatments. Positive results are usually reported four to six weeks after the last session and continue improving for several weeks after the treatment.
