The emProfile™ is an innovative and non-invasive facial treatment. The procedure emits both Radiofrequency and Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation technologies and affects the facial skin and muscles, enabling the emProfile™ to achieve firming and anti-ageing results without needles. Radiofrequency heats the dermis, increasing collagen and elastin fibres to firm up skin and smooth out wrinkles. Electromagnetic Muscle Stimulation technology restores and enhances facial tissue support by selectively contracting muscles and increasing the density and quality of muscle structures. Electromagnetic waves safely enter the muscle tissue as deep as 2cm under the skin, triggering its motor neurons (as if the brain transmits information to stimulate motor neurons) and then triggering continuous muscle contraction due to action potentials, reaching a high level of anti-ageing stimulation. During muscle contraction, some fibres break, allowing the muscles to reshape and grow profoundly and produce new collagen chains and new muscle fibres, increasing and thickening myofibrils, tightening facial muscles, and improving facial lines. At the same time, a certain intensity of muscle contraction dramatically increases the energy demand of muscle cells, releases more adrenaline, promotes the rapid decomposition of a large number of fat cells, and produces a large amount of ATP energy for muscle contraction, to burn and reduce fat and increase the basal metabolic rate. When the muscles are retracted, lymph drainage occurs; it accelerates the absorption and transportation of lymphatic fluid, which contains toxins, bacteria, viruses, and proteins. The enhancement of the flow rate accelerates the metabolism of the face, expels the waste left by fat decomposition and the toxins of the face and improves the tolerance of the facial skin.
