Syneron ePlus® Sublime Skin Tightening Procedure - Aesthetica Skin Centre

Syneron ePlus® Sublime Skin Tightening Procedure

The Sublime device by Syneron is intended for non-invasive wrinkle treatments. The Sublime procedure uses the elōs combination of gentle pulsed infrared light (wavelengths 700-2000 nm) and bi-polar radiofrequency (RF) to provide deep dermal heating.  Collagen and elastin depletion in the dermis results in dermal volume loss, creating sagging of the skin. The Syneron Sublime for facial contouring and wrinkle treatment stimulates long term collagen synthesis, resulting in an immediate and long term firmed appearance. This laser procedure is available at Aesthetica Skin Centre and will indeed reverse the signs of ageing without the downtime and provide an overall, more youthful appearance.  The sublime combines laser light energy and RF energies to stimulate the production of new collagen.  The area’s most often treated are the eyes, brow lines, cheeks, jawline and neck. Sublime laser facial lifting and contouring gives you immediate visible results, helping to reverse the ageing process and achieve a more youthful appearance without the downtime. The elos technology by Syneron is the first and only technology that uses combined energies to stimulate collagen production effectively and to improve your overall skin quality in most telling areas when it comes ageing such as the eyes, brow lines, cheeks and around the neck.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Most clients will see an immediate improvement in skin tone and texture, contouring the jawline with visible softening lines and wrinkles. A course of 3 to 6 treatment procedures are recommended with a gradual and cumulative result throughout their Sublime treatment course. It is important to remember the number of procedures required depends on your skin’s condition.
Sublime is a gentle, pain-free, relaxing treatment requiring only twenty minutes of your time. We find most of our patients return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure. Cooling of the skin’s surface provides enhanced safety and additional comfort.
If you suffer from loose, sagging and wrinkled skin on your jowls, neck, cheeks, and forehead, then the Sublime Wrinkle Procedure would be a good tissue tightening option. Besides, lax skin on the eyelids, a heavy brow, or upper eyelid drooping, as well as loose abdominal skin, upper arm skin, or lax buttocks or thighs may benefit from this unique procedure. It is often noted that our patients with superficial acne scars, rough skin texture, and mild to moderate superficial wrinkles also improve from this laser procedure.
We find that most patients see a definite but modest to moderate improvement in the treated area. For facial procedures, you can expect that the skin at the jawline is tightened, the cheek area is toned, and the neck is firmer. The softer lines and wrinkles will also be improved. This laser treatment will leave you with a smoother and more uniform complexion. We do however suggest a minimum of 3 treatments at monthly intervals. A follow-up visit 6 months post-treatment, and maintenance treatments are generally recommended every 6 months.
Sublime may be mildly uncomfortable during treatment, but this should not persist after treatment. This is a no-downtime treatment, and you should be able to return to your activities and work the same day. It is important to remember that your skin may appear slightly red after the procedure, but makeup and/or a tinted sunscreen may be applied immediately. The redness and swelling should disperse within a few hours.
