Vaginal PLEXR® Remodeling
Plexr utilizes plasma energy – plasma being the fourth state of matter; the first three being solid, liquid and gas. Simply put, Plexr utilizes the difference in voltage between the device and a person’s skin. The difference in voltage generates a small electrical arc or plasma discharge. The discharge results in the sublimation of fluids contained in superficial parts of the skin, without any unwanted heat transmission to adjacent tissue.
Plexr can turn the superficial layers of the epidermis into vapor, without causing thermal damage to adjacent tissues, preserving the deeper layers, and drastically reducing any potential permanent skin damage.
Exactly what constitutes ‘normal’ female genitalia?
This is an area of medicine in which very few studies have been published. The handful of articles that do outline the measurements of female genitalia vary in their definition of hypertrophy and normal.
There are currently no criteria that measure and describe normal female genital anatomy and medical textbooks also lack detail regarding the range of diversity and measurements.
While labiaplasty continues to be a relatively unknown and unspoken cosmetic procedure, recent statistics show its rising popularity. According to the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the number of labiaplasty procedures performed in 2013 increased by 44%.
What is labiaplasty?
- A cosmetic surgery performed on the Labia Minora, Majora, or Prepuce (skin that hangs laterally above the clitoris).
- One or a combination of these areas within the vulva is cut and made to look, supposedly, more aesthetically pleasing.
- Skin considered loose and hanging is removed.
- Labiaplasty involves the removal of tissue from labia minora that extends beyond the labia majora and/or removal or increases tissue from the labia majora in order to achieve symmetry.
All our photographs of before and after treatment results are examples only, and do not constitute an implied or any other kind of guarantee of the result of treatment procedures. Results can vary significantly between our clients. All our treatment results are subject to the individualities of each client.
Furthermore, all treatment procedures carry potential risks and complications which are described in detail in our treatment consent forms. These may include but are not limited to, bleeding, infection, asymmetry, dissatisfaction with the result and the expense of further treatments to manage a complication (patient forms). If you have any questions regarding these potential risks and complications. Please discuss them with our doctors or aesthetic therapist prior to treatments.
Before undergoing a treatment, please be sure that you understand that YOUR actual results will likely VARY SIGNIFICANTLY from other patient’s results, including their BEFORE & AFTER photos.
This is quite important to understand — that EVEN when you feel that you look very similar to another client in their BEFORE images, your results will likely vary significantly — because you are a unique person. Every individual has NOT only a completely unique physique but also uniquely individualistic body healing capacities, scarring tendencies and recovery processes — some of which are unpredictable even in very-healthy patients who rest adequately and do ALL the other right things before and after their procedure.
Please be noted, our doctors and aesthetic therapists offer you our highest expertise in our aesthetic procedures.
