Syneron ePlus® IPL Skin Rejuvenation Procedure

The IPL Skin Rejuvenation (SR) laser is intended for the treatment of benign pigmented and vascular lesions. The targeted pigmented or vascular lesions absorb the light energy, raising the temperature of the target tissue. Then RF energy flows to the pre-heated area and elevates the target’s temperature to a safe and effective level, providing an overall skin appearance improvement. The elos® technology by Syneron can combine bipolar radiofrequency and light energies to produce fantastic photo rejuvenation results. This technique allows our aesthetic professionals to precisely lighten or fade several different skin imperfections for people of most skin types. Darker skin types may need extra care and expertise, but the team at Aesthetica Skin Centre can provide such skills and professionalism. Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout their Sublime treatment series. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on your skin’s condition. Initially, the targeted areas will become darker before they are exfoliated away and slough off with washing or daily activities. Most patients will usually need three sessions. However, each patient is different, so the number of treatment sessions will depend on your skin’s condition. The number of visits will be determined at your initial consult.
Pain is reported to be minor due to the sapphire cooling tip that is equipped on the machine itself. There is little to no downtime with this corrective procedure. Patients report a mild sun-burn-like sensation post-treatment.
